January 2010 - Westminster Academy

Children from the Westminster Academy created this wonderful collection of cards on the theme 'I'm proud to be'. Westminster Academy is an international business and enterprise academy. Student intake is multi-cultural, multi-lingual and diverse, with 89% of the students speaking English as an additional language. Year 9 (13 year old) students took part in the 'I am proud to be' project, in which they painted or drew an image about the country they felt associated with and wrote somethiing about themselves on the back of the card.
