February 2010 - Winter Landscapes - 'The Workshop', Settle

The Workshop runs monthly 'creative' sessions at the Friends' Meeting House in Settle. The Workshop offers taster sessions in all sorts of different art forms, inlcuding bead making, weaving, batik, water colours and clay work. The postcards displayed in the Gallery on the Green took Winter Landscapes as the theme and used a wide variety of techniques and skills. The scanned images do not quite do justice to the range of textures and media, including textiles, felt, wirework and water colours.
